Jd 318
I recently bought used 318 with minor issues. It came with a snow blower, single stage and 50" mower deck. This is the first JD I've owned. Bought it for something for my boys to tinker with and get off the video games. It has some brackets on the back that from what I can figure out are for a rototiller. The upper brackets have a number of (M70733JD). The lower bracket doesn't have any numbers, but looks like a quick attach of some sort. Any insight would be helpful.

Tinker - maybe not something so violent as a rototiller. Check with your local JD dealership. You could be very surprised what goes on those brackets.

For future reference - resize your pic to 1 Mb or less. I'm on Hughes Net and with the local overcast - takes forever to load your pics.

Thank you for the insights. The local JD dealer was no help. I'll keep looking into it.

Deere had a 3 point hitch option for the 318. Might have also had a grass catcher cart but do not recall for sure.

I will confess to being clueless on your 318, but I once had a JD lawn tractor (I don’t remember the model number) that had a similar type setup. The lower brackets on my were a pivot holder for a rod that ran under the mower to lift a front mounted implement. There was a lot of linkage/steel that interconnected to work off the mowing deck lift system.
Again not sure this applies to your 318.

Those are definitely the attachment brackets for the 30" hydraulic rototiller . I know this for sure as they are the same ones I have for mine.
