If I get a blade (most likely will), will I want to attach it to push forward (drag) or push in reverse.??

The Blade I have rotates 360deg, you can alter it's direction and lock it with a pin. Then Pull or Push (backwards) as you see fit.

I plow snow with mine backwards with the blade at an angle so as to have the snow pile wider than my 50" tracks. 2 passes on the drive ways and 3-4 on the Gravel access road (comunity road), 4-5 for the Main county road.

I don't pull the blade in snow as I want all the traction and don't want to compress the snow into the drive or roads.

This picture might help, mine is the 1572 as pictured. It tilts and rotates

For smaller areas, a blade or bucket will work fine. When it comes to a long driveway, a blade in front or back is the way to go. Then clean up with a bucket.
