The Blade I have rotates 360deg, you can alter it's direction and lock it with a pin. Then Pull or Push (backwards) as you see fit.
I plow snow with mine backwards with the blade at an angle so as to have the snow pile wider than my 50" tracks. 2 passes on the drive ways and 3-4 on the Gravel access road (comunity road), 4-5 for the Main county road.
I don't pull the blade in snow as I want all the traction and don't want to compress the snow into the drive or roads.
For smaller areas, a blade or bucket will work fine. When it comes to a long driveway, a blade in front or back is the way to go. Then clean up with a bucket.
