I have a Homier version of the quickhitch. If I didn't have the adjustable top hitch it may have worked as shipped. I don't and it didn't. I can't use the top hole because the hook hits the angle iron (I don't think any quickhitch can use the top hole). Here is the problem:

Here is the side I ground down a bit. I ground it down even more after this picture. I also move the hook on the quickhitch down.

I have used it to do some grading and snow removal. So far I like it, but for grading it would be nice to have tilt. Also, I have the 5" version behind a NH TC24, for snow I wish I had the 6".

Here is a photo of the Midwest blade from Tarheel Tractor. From them the RB22-60 is $15 dollars cheaper and has built in tilt and offset. RB20-60 is $75 cheaper than the LP.

Which model is the midwest in the pic? How much? Really nice looking blade.

Thats the RB22-60. The website states $360.

The RB20 series doesn't have the tilt or offset feature.

I have the Midwest blade and from my research, for a small tractor they make the best blade with the most adjustments for the money.

Take a good look at the photo of the Midwest blade. You can keep your gloves on and still make the adjustments to the angle, tilt or offset out in the field without any tools, and without much fear of losing any small parts because they use heavy pins with big grab openings. I had a light duty Speeco blade (they no longer make blades) and am very happy that I have the Midwest unit now. The offset was something I was not sure I would use, but it is a very very useful feature and I'm glad I have it.

For my money, Midwest makes the best rear blade, the best box blade, and the best landscape rake. (at least for small to medium size CUTs that don't use hydraulic blade adjustments).

Thanks! That would definitely be my blade choice. It has it all! Now to find a local dealer. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The midwest equipment rb22 looks like a heck of a blade for the money. Anyone found a dealer that carries them in the SE Michigan area? Tried the Kioti branded blades from the local Kioti dealer, but he wants $493 for the rb20!!

You could try contacting Midwest directly. There website is: Midwest Equipment

I tried emailing them a few weeks ago and my email bounced.
