I have been pricing heavier duty rear blades this week, and am coming up with:
$970 for Woods HBL 84
$995 for Land Pride RB35-84
$880 Bush Hog 70-07
$835 & $945 for Midwest Equipment RB40-84.

Is the Land Pride so much better than the MidWest Equipment version? I have only seen the Bush Hog and Woods models in person, and the other two on the net. The Land Pride appears to be better built from the pictures, but I can't put my hands on one close by. It also seems the Land Pride can have hydraulics put on it, while I did not see that option on the Mid West.
Are these reasonable prices, as well?

Thanks, and Happy New Year to all.

I have a LP RB35-72 with hydraulic cylinder. It is a great blade. Looked at the pictures of the Midwest RB40-84. Its construction looks very similar to the LP and should be able to have a cylinder installed like all the other models you have listed. If I was buying new and could get a Midwest for $835. I would get it.
