Its been quiet out here for a while so I decided to post my latest mod. I like how the gage wheels work with my rake so I made some for the rear blade.I have a 300' gravel drive to plow this winter. I hope these wheels will keep the gravel in the drive. Let me know what you think.

Looks great.
Where do you take those pics - at the hospital? Such a clean environment and picked up and so neat. Wow. Don't know if I could 'work' /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks for posting. Let us know how it works.

Very nice looking project but me and a few other TBN members are going to have to drop by and do something about that garage of yours, it's way to clean to suit us. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Cold wet weather means time to do more projects. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif To make bigger mess. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Your bio shows you also have a rake. Will gage wheels work on the rake? One of the best upgrades I have made is adding gage wheels to my Landscape Rake. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice job. I have always thought that would be the ticket for plowing snow. My blade and concrete drive are a little too well acquainted with one another and each is showing a some wear. If you wanted to make some money, sell them as clamp-on or bolt-on units. I'll buy your first set.

Appearantly you missed this thread. One of the nicest wheel DIYs I have seen yet. Love the addition of those bronze bushings. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Once again, nice work BarnBoy. Kind of surprised that you went with the steel casters this time though.
