Rear Blade Rear blade with manual tilt?

Matt, sounds like you are looking for one of these. I have one, they are very good quality, and have tilt positions on each side. From a former MXer (pro-am in the late 70s - early 80s), make the track good.

I recently bought a LandPride rear blade with the tilt option. I have found lots of uses in the flat position, but opted for the tilt so that I could more easily dig irrigation/drainage ditch. I have never built berms like you are talking about, but one of the guys in the neighborhood has an MX course, and I noticed once while he was working on a 3-4' berm, he was using the FEL. The tilt option adds a bit to the price. Maybe you could find a place to rent or borrow one to see if it will work.

Some folks complain about the MX noise, but not me. I had a lot of fun riding motorcycles when I was a kid .

If the tilt option is a bit pricey, you could adjust your side links to get that side tilt. Effectively doing exactly what you want. With hydraulic side links it makes it even easier to do. On my tractor, both my side links were manual turnbuckle style adjustment and allowed for a huge tilt. Now that I have hydraulic side links, I get just as much tilt if not more, but 10X easier to do.

JDGreg, thanks for the photo! Thats exactly what I need. With a combination of that blade and a FEL, I think my berms will turn out great. Thanks for everyone's input and help.

10x easier, I seriously doubt that, more like a 1000x. Rob I think that maybe you should go out and look at your manual turnbuckles that you took off and think about how much work that it is to adjust them vs pulling a lever. You have already forgotten how great the improvements are that you have made to your tractor.

I better go out and mow the lawns.

Yeah you are right about that Brian. That IS why I made those changes, but I didn't want to over-exaggerate and be known as "Wild Claims Rob".

I second the Land Pride comments. When I bought mine last year, there
were only a couple that tilted. I have the RB3572 which is slightly
heavier but our NH TC33 hasn't had any problems. Am in the process
of adding CCM TnT to both sides for trail grading when the manual
tilt is just too much. I believe the land-prides are 15 and 30 degree
both sides.

Happy MX'ing. Our said trails only hear the thump-thump of our
4-stroke dirt bikes vs. the ole' 2-stroke 13000rpm scream I remember
from my MX youth.
