Has anyone used a 6 ft blade with a B7500? I've used a 5 ft with no problem but was wondering on 6 ft. Local dealer has a sun faded 6 cheaper than I can order a 5. Any input would be apreciated.

I have a 6 ft rear blade on my B2710 and it works just fine. This is the same blade that I had on my previous tractor B2400. The extra size comes in real handy when plowing snow.
Like Mike said - grab it. I haven't used mine for snow just yet, but I picked up a 6 footer last Spring. Mine is a closeout from TSC, and was cheap. It's built much heavier than the 5 foot model I got at Central Tractor for my Ford 1210. I also figured I could cut some off each end if necessary.
The 5 footer had a plate of mebbe 1/4" thickness for the rotation. There were holes to drop a pin through to set the angle of the blade. After some use, it was necessary to double the thickness of the plate. I also went with a slightly stouter pin. Worked fine ever since.
I have used the 6 footer with the B7500 to spread some stone, sand and topsoil. The extra weight of the blade seemed to make it work better than the smaller, shorter one. I'm anxious to give it a whirl in the snow. Hope we get a real Winter this time around........................chim
Frank,
I had that blade on my tractor (that's why it's painted green). I shortened the top link enough so the blade would clear the lower links. If you shorten the top link a little, and lower the blade close to the ground it will turn 360 degrees. You may have to lift the back of the blade when turning it to take care of the play.
I swapped your blade for one like the one snowman has only 72".
