If you get another type rear blade, you do not need the mounting kit. For the most part, if you order a Kubota rear blade, you do not even hear about the B2002 from the dealer. It is all considered part of the rear blade. For some reason, Kubota feels it necessary to break it down into the A-frame (mounting kit B2002) and the moldboard (B2005)... the component parts of any blade. Kubota dealers know this and combine the two parts together as the "rear blade package". Most of the time you wouldn't even hear about the difference. Hope the response makes sense.
