All you need from the dealer is the special "plug" mentioned in the threads I linked, all the hoses and fittings are easily sourced elsewhere.
Hello again Kenny,
I may have misunderstood your thread, I thought you had to replace the plate behind the control valve for the FEL which I thought was part of the PB kit that I needed to purchase from JD.
So your saying I only need to remove the existing plate and install the plug? I haven't taken the RR wheel and the access plate off my tractor yet, I hate to take it apart before I have the parts to do the job, but I can see one plugged port on the bottom of the plate in your photo post #8, there must be another port on there somewhere that I can't see.
The local dealer told me this morning that the plate that is already installed on my tractor is the PB unit and all I need is to plumb Hydro lines to a valve which he said must be an open center valve.
When I clicked the link to the valve in your thread it came up "no match found" they must have changed part no.s or something. Is your valve an open center type valve or is that the purpose of the special plug you mentioned?

Purchase JD part #s .

PT13744------Plug $1.86
CH11436------Ring $6.32
CH17260------Packing $3.51

These are the ONLY parts that you need to purchase from JD. Everything else can be had aftermarket.

Hi Brian, I reread the the thread that Kenny linked to and the one where Jim Gerkin put TNT on his 2520. Things are starting to become a little clearer to my fuzzy old mind.

I wonder if you need a different dealer?

The dealer has returned all my calls and they are trying to get me on the right page, but I am learning more by reading these threads on TBN than from talking to the dealer, of coarse the pics. on here help a lot. My hat is off to Kenny and Jim Gerkin for posting these threads, at first I neglected to read the thread that Jim posted because he is dealing with a different model tractor than I am, but his thread turned out to be very helpful any way. I believe the plate behind the scv is different on the 2520 than the one on the 4110.
Kenny, in the pic. on post # 8 I see a plugged port on the bottom of the plate, when I look down at valve assembly on my tractor it looks like the other port is on the top of the plate, so you have one hose coming back from the top and the other one from the bottom. right?

]Oscer, you have the "plate", and it is very close to same if not even identical to the setup on Jim's 2520. Sorry but I don't have time right now to stare and compare in JDP.

Here is the setup on mine, I though this picture was included in the post I made years ago:

Maybe the JD parts pic will help you visualize it better. I did this more almost 15 years ago with my 4100. You have the block, plug it, add hoses, valve, connectors and your good to go. Always remember to keep continuous flow back to the block.

Thanks fellas, I think I got it. I ordered the three parts That Brian posted,at least I'll have the parts that come from Deere before they discontinue them. I have been well served with this tractor and can't quite understand why they change models every couple of years.
