Rear hydraulics on 770?

Nick,

I ordered the JD kit (18005) from my local JD dealer back in November 2010. As of then the kit was available. I think it cost around $290.

I don't think the JD kit (18046) is as critical if they become unavailable because you could custom make your own rear quick coupler kit that plugs into the loader outlets.

JD770 Rear Hydraulic Kits (2)

1. BM18046 - JD kit (rear quick coupler kit) that has flexible lines from loader outlet to rear of tractor.

2. BM18005 - JD kit (rear auxillary hydraulic line kit) that has hard lines to rear of tractor.

Could you provide some more details about the solenoid valve and momentary contact switch. Any pictures? Who sells these?

If I could get the loader to work at the same time as the rear outlets, I would consider installing that kit (18046) too or custom make my own. I mean, why not have both kits installed and have the best of both worlds?

What I have pictured is custom. I've since bought the JD kit but haven't installed it. I picked it up for less than the fittings cost. I'll get around to it sometime.

I don't have this exact switch, but the Crouzet 83123018 (allied elect) is very similar. Wire it to the solenoid valve as a NO switch and mount it on the side or front of your SCV handle. When you want the rear hydraulics you push the button and actuate the handle.

Any solenoid "circuit selector" valve will work. You can do it with a single 6 port valve or with a pair of 3 port valves. (HydraForce SV10-31 would be an example) I have several of both types and eventually will put one of the set-ups on my tractor. I have to find a loader I can afford first.
