Yes sir, The original return line on there from the loader side has that big 90 degree bend that makes changing the orientation a bit of a problem as well.

I think you would save some space if you could rotate the T, but you'd need to get a new hose (or have a new end put on if long enough). Or add a hose and move the T elsewhere. Building a guard was probably the quickest/cheapest solution.

Mine does not T at all, I removed the green line or power beyond. I will try to figure out how to post pictures. I can leave the hitch on mine with the woods.

Maybe you can find a T that you can put on the other way so the T'ed joint is on the tractor return. Now the top of the T runs parallel to the tractor. Put your rear return from the new valve on the back like you have now and rotate the loader return line CCW 90 degrees so it will go on the front of the T.
