Sorry to hear about your lighting install. Hope they make it right for you.
When I did the lighting on my BX this past spring I used a forward facing single row led light bar and a rear flashing led tactical light bar with 70 flash patterns. I designed and fabricated a light module to house both lights in and the complete system is held to the ROPS via U bolts.
It has a very low profile footprint that looks good (my opinion) is electrically very efficient, well protected and offers surpurb lighting. It's also ver light because its fabricated out of 1/8 aluminum plate.
I've attached a few photos so if you can do some basic metal work you could do the same.
