My dealer has ordered (about a month) and of course I've been waiting for the rear remote assembly to arrive for my L5030HST. He claims he has everything but the handle assembly to operate it?? He said they are waiting for them to produce them again. What I'm asking is, does anyone have one in stock or is there a good place to look?? Does anyone have a part #?? He said he did a dealer search and came up empty handed.

Your dealer's answer doesn't quite ring true. For the remote install on a L30 series tractor there is basically 3 pieces. 1. The mounting kit which has the plumbing from the rear hydraulic block to the valves plus some brackets. 2. the valve, 3. the stacking kit which contains the handle and the hoses to the QDs and the QDs plus fasteners and brackets. Additional remotes require a valve and a unique stacking kit.

My description may not be completely accurate but it does give the general idea. Your dealer may have figured that he had enough of the pieces around which with ordering a piece or two would do the install. He possibly could be planning on making more profit over ordering the complete kits.

You are correct, he is still looking for #3 (kit part # L8305) He basically was giving it to me in layman's terms. I called Messick's and they coudn't find me one either. Actually it kind of ticks me off really as it was produced late '07 and I already can't find a factory kit readily available. I can always go to an aftermarket, but I sure would like the OEM product.

I also forgot to mention that he charged me $500 for the remote kit installed (which I have already paid with the tractor deal) and he did fess up that if he ordered parts individually that he would be basically double of what he planned on. He stated they have a time frame of August before the kits would be available. The $500 doesn't bother me as I think that is a great price for the remotes installed, but the wait is killing me!! I trust my dealer as it is appearing he has treated me well and isn't feeding me BS, but I would like to find a kit for him (me) to get this over with. He actually refuses to cash my check until all is done correctly.

Your dealer is probably waiting on an L8305 valve base and first lever kit. I have also been trying to find one (to fit a L3430HSTC) and they will not be available until August 08. The other parts are available, but not the base and lever.
