So my question to you is..........

what color clubs are you going to buy??
/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The answer is...

One of each color naturally!

It's the same thing I want to do with tractors! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(wife indicates if I do start down that road, it better both start and stop with tractors...what is she thinking... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif at my age one of them is enough... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I just added remotes and power beyond to my 4310 so I will chime in. Go to the parts desk and get a price on the remotes. This will be how much you will pay later down the road if you decide to add them yourself. Then go ask the dealer how much they would charge to install them now. Many times they will cut you a deal on add ons when you buy the tractor. Later on you will probably pay retail. If it is remotely close in price go ahead and do it. I just installed remotes on my 4310 and it was a pain in the butt. It should be easier on the 790 because of it's design, but if you can get them to do it right now at a price comparable to what you will have to pay for the parts alone later done the road, it is worth it to do it right now.

The nice thing about golf clubs, is that one of them is NOT enough! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you're going to get a tractor of each color, just include a golf cart and tell her it's a whole new type of tractor. And of course, you need to make use of your investment, sooooooo........

will the clubs be color coordinated to the cart, or will you go with the attractively contrasting scheme?? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Garry, if you play golf the way I do, one might be enough. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've never tried it, but sometimes I wonder if I wouldn't do just as well by throwing away everything but the 4 iron. I think it's the fact that they've all got different length shafts that messes me up. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

One other thing to get "right off the bat" is an iMatch. I know it sounds simple - but I just bought my first tractor from a saleman who was also new. I wish he'd pushed the iMatch because it's great and the extra $225 in the whole tractor price would have been easy to absorb...

Bird,

I know what you mean. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I use to play with a guy who only carried a 3 wood, a 7 iron, and a putter. It always amazed me what he could do with those 3 clubs. I could never quite figure out how a guy who was so talented that he could play reasonably well with just 3 clubs could never figure out how to play even better with the whole set.

I was just glad that he never beat me when we played. Otherwise, the wife would probably have made me get rid of my whole set for just the three! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

There are days, however, that I wonder if I wouldn't be better off playing with just 1 club. If I did, I think I'd pick the 5 iron myself. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I say get them now. When I bought my L3130 the three remotes cost me $1325. Compare that to the parts cost and make your decision. I decided that I did not want to fight it and did not want to kludge it with an electric diverter valve to avoid having to get more than one remote.

mwood, Have the rear remotes installed as part of your purchase package, you can probably get them at a cheaper price than waiting until a latter date. When I got my tractor the dealer put them on with no labor charge.
