Rear scoop and FEL bucket capacities

Just one thought about a rear dirt scoop versus a FEL; the rear scoop can't be lifted very high.. so your ability to do things like stack snow, load pickup trucks, etc., is almost zilch with the rear scoop. OTOH, they're a LOT cheaper.. and handy for many things.

You're correct about the ballast comment. My fingers didn't type what my mind was thinking.
