Kubota B7500
Can anybody recommend a rear snowblower for my B7500? I posted a question about the Kubota BL2660 60 inch rear snowblower and go zero responses, so I assume it is not a popular item. Who makes the best, or one of the best, rear snowblowers that work well with a B7500? My concern is that the reverse hydro pedal location means that the chute rotater would have to be over the driver's right shoulder for easy access.

I have a 54" Puma with a manual chute for my B7500. It suits me fine. I wouldn't mind a little more snow this year so that I can really try it though - last year was sad. Only one minor complaint and that's the manual chute crank is located directly in the center of the unit, and if I lift it all the way up it smacks my SMV sign.

I also have the Puma 54 on my BX2200, got in May 2002, for $1000.00, have not used it yet. I looked around it was the best deal I could find. This is a good time of year to shop for snow blowers. Got mine in Mass and I am in NJ, 5 hour ride ( was in the area on business), but figured I saved about $250-$300. I looked at the following: JRW- $1100, Farm King $1200, Norman $1400, Meteor $1300, all in the 54 inch range, you may be able to go with a larger 60" model??? Check out www.sweettractor.com, Ken has the Farm King model, but more then I listed. I purchased a First Choice tiller from Ken in March, the transaction went very well. I called around to dealers in NY, VT, PA, and MASS, where ever they get a lot of snow. Some were sold out, some did not have the size I was looking for, some were not interested in dealing with me because I was from NJ! All are made in Canada as far as I know.

Good luck

Tom

I have a 7500 and purchased a 60" Buhler/Allied. We did not get any big dumps last season so blew the banks back the plow left, handled it fine. I had to install 3 Kubota weights on the front though, you could lift the front of the tractor up with one hand. Am happy so far with the quality.

Sherbs, where is the hand crank for the chute located-- over your right shoulder or left shoulder as you are sitting in the driver's seat?
