Hoping someone on here can help me with their diagnosis of my problem and a remedy. Apparently the dealer cannot.

The rear wheels do not engage when the machine is first started.
There is no warning lite and no codes are displayed when It is started.

Eventually there is a beep and the warning lite will come on.
It will then show code 50 – 13 (Front Wheel Speed Sensor Fault)
When this happens the machine will drive and operate normally.

The dealer did a service call. Claimed they inspected and cleaned the front drive motor speed sensor.
Also said I may have a sensor going out.
When the problem occurred again it was taken to the dealer and they installed a new front drive motor speed sensor.

After spending over 1,200.00 at the dealership the problem still exists.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

I cannot help, but is burns me that some (most?) dealers soak people and then do not fix the problem or stand behind their work.

How do you know the rear wheels are not being 'driven' until you get the error code? Are they locked and dragging?

Yes they are pretty much locked up and dragging. They may turn slightly but then lock up and just drag.
