Tractor
L3901 , Ford 8N and 640
The 8N is finally retired and placed onto the restorative back burner along with the 640 Red Tiger. A brand new 3901 has arrived with loader, hay spears and cutter.
Life is good.

I passed on getting a factory installed rear work lamp and decided to research options myself.

Any ideas?

thx

Ya or you can just make your own set up...I have a light bar facing front and 1 round facing rear..........

I used some PVC pipe pucks as spacers & clamped a pipe over my ROPS. Drilled holes in that bar & put generic LED cubes on it. I wanted to securely mount things but not modify the ROPS. Was some random towel rack square pipe or something & a couple square U bolts so dead easy.

Forget where I wired it to, under the dash somewhere as I put a switch on the dash. All the Kubotas have a ignition switched plug under the left (standing behind looking forward) fender. Its 10 or 15 amps, plenty for 4 LED cubes.

The plug is either the male or female Original 2 pin Power connector for VHF/UHF Power cords - Power source side | Powerwerx. Common ham radio plug, but it's hard to figure that out & not well documented. You still need a switch or 2 if you use that circuit. IMG_20140209_110007-3.jpg

81mm Round Magnet

I used these magnets to mountfront and rear LED lights on BX (volts/watts = amps) a 5 a watt light = (12/5) 2.4 amp fuse or 5 amp for pair of lights. You could run from lighter socket or wire to switch/fuse/battery.

Made something more elaborate For the B
