Reasons for voiding factory warranty?

The Owner's Manual for my new Bobcat CT2040 tractor states that using foam tire ballasts will void the factory warranty. I don't quite know the logic behind that but will an owner install of a Bobcat rear hydraulic remote kit or 3rd function kit have similar consequences?

No. Installing the hydraulic kits won’t void your warranty.
