I have a very workable old cement mixer ("Handy Dandy" ). I had to have some welding done on the cast iron yoke which necessitated total tear down. Upon reassembly I find I have a key stock left out of the mixer somewhere. Duh. Help!

Is there a lever to pour? It might be keyed.

The only keys I know about on mine ( which may be totally different than yours ) , are the pulley on the motor and the gear that turns the drum , ( opposite end of belt from the motor ) . Reason I know of that key is my Dad who previously owned the mixer lost the original key apparently and replaced it with a piece of nail . While mixing one day , the drum stopped under a full load . Motor was still turning ? Quickly pulled cover , loosened motor to loosen belt and fortunately had some various key stock handy from rebuilding my log splitter . Found right size , fixed sprocket , tightened every thing back up and went back to mixing .

This is a toy version of what mine looks like , pretty similar though .
