Wow I think you are right. This is a new horse to me and I will have to pay attention to how he holds his feet. I have never had a horse cross his legs like that.

I zoomed in to the pic 400%, and I don't think it is a bona fide cross...but that gelding sure came close, as if he had great intentions of doing that!

He is a very good looking animal...but your daughter steals the shot all the way (not to mention a great name too).

All of our children have biblical names.:)

Praise the Lord, and may He receive the glory ;~)

If you don't mind me asking, what are the others?

How about the horses name, did you name it...or did I miss that?

Also, was it much trouble dealing with the government to purchase the horse?

Oophs!
EDIT: Just noticed - "Cinnamon", and the auction with Gov. was years ago.

The oldest on the horse is Rebekah Faith, our middle child is name Hannah Joy and the newest addition to the clan was born July 4th and his name is Dallas Jacob, we call him Jacob, we will se if it sticks.

Here in Arizona the adoption center in Kingman has adoptions for BLM animals once a month and then they will bring the horses and burros around the state about once a year to different locations. It is a very poplular way to get a in expensive horse in this part of the country, you just have to be willing and able to break a green horse. I have never done it but the people I know that have done it say that they are easier to break than a horse that was born in a pen. This is the second horse that I have been around that came from the BLM and so far I am impressed. They are not performance horses, just good family trail horses.

Those are beautiful names, and your quiver is filling up ;~)

I have always liked the look of those Mustangs. Not a big animal, but man do they look like they have a lot of spirit!

How about the burros, have you had any dealings with them?

I use to have horses when I was a teenager, and hopefully I will be able to have some again. There is nothing like being around a good horse to lift a persons own spirit.

Have fun riding, take care, and the Lord bless.

Congratulation on a beautiful animal. I too thought his legs were crossed. At a glance they sure do look like it. This picture need to go in an illusion book cause its tricky:)

I'm going to have to vote for crossed! Give the horse the benefit of the doubt! :D What a beautiful horse.

I also appreciate the names you've chosen. We wanted to do that with ours, but there are 26 grandkids in our family between my wife's side and mine and ours are the younger ones, so all the good Biblical names seem to have been chosen. We've even got a Josiah in the family. I wanted to go with Melchizedek for our son, but my wife won out and we named him after my uncle. Here's an interesting web site (I know it's a tad off topic, forgive me) but this guy names all of his Longhorns after Bible characters or scripture verses. Never seen that before. Thought you might find it interesting too. :)
