Rebuilding a John Deere 520 Gas tractor

A friend of mine is restoring a John Deere 520 or at least he is tryng to restore it. The problem is he can't find many parts for a 520. Do any of you know of a good parts scource either new or used? We live in middle Tennessee so if parts are availalbe in the southeast that would be great. Does anyone have a scrap 520 for sale.

Wouldn't think parts would be that hard to find, I just sold my 1958-520 last spring! For new after-market try Steiner Tractor Parts - New Restoration Quality Parts for Antique Tractors or Restoration Supply @ Tractor Parts Restoration Supply Antique Tractor Parts - John Deere Farmall Allis Chalmers. For used, untitled.

Pick up a copy of Green Magazine, Green Magazine, the monthly magazine for John Deere enthusiasts, plenty of parts vendors listed.
