Width does depend on what you cut. My 39 hp PTO Ford is working hard spinning a five footer in some of the fine dense grasses I encounter. Yet it barely notices brush or roses.

well, locally ive found $2600 for a BH 295, or a dealer with a leftover BH RD6 for $1100 .... 3" cut capacity vs 1" but thats a heck of a price difference.

Heavy duty implements usually has a heavy duty price.
