Dealership called yesterday and said they could deliver my new CK 4020HSE with cab today. It arrived about 9:00 AM and looks great. The whole buying experience was very good. The dealer didn't add in extras or fees and didn't even require a deposit or down payment for my order. They delivered the machine and I paid the driver with a cashier's check. While talking to the delivery driver he told me that this dealer was selling more than 400 Kioti tractors a year making it the #1 dealer in the nation. That really surprised me because the dealership is located by itself out in rural NC and 30 minutes from a town of any real size.
Didn't get to play with it much because the grandchildren are visiting this weekend and we are trying to spend our time with them.
My biggest concern with the tractor that I will have to work through is how to reposition the tractor when using the backhoe since it has a cab. I am used to a small Kubota tractor without a cab where I could reach up front and operate the loader while seated in the backhoe position. It will also take a few hours to get used to the controls being different. I really like the hydrostat pedals better than the treadle but a couple of times while moving the tractor I automatically tried to use my heel to move in reverse before catching myself.
Looking forward to putting the new machine to work.
