Thought ya'll might want to see this.

The wife and I had this built in our back yard (we have 4 acres in a subdivision). It stores our racing vehicles (hobby), along with other vehicles.

It's 60'x40'.

bad part is, the shop has just been finished, and I happen to be out of work, so I can outfit it like I want at this time.

Gonna get a 4 post lift for it; big air compressor with plumbing throughout; full bath; plus all the shelving and storage I need to do.

Being out of work now has afforded me the chance to get all our junk into it... still needs to be organized.

Do have plans to work on my wifes '53 F100. We already have the parts, so it's just my labor.

Wow! That is really pretty.:) Is it 14' at the eaves? Is the inside clear span or did you use trusses? A 60'x40' is exactly what I want with an open lean-to on the side for keeping eqiupment out of the Texas sun and rain (when we're lucky enough to have rain).

12' at the eaves, 4 on 12 roof pitch. Inside is clear span, for height for the lift. Everything fits for now... but other things will come along and fill it up. LOL

Yeah, we've only had rain here in the past month, the first since April. Everything is green again, and the tanks are full.

Very nice looking building. It is an asset to your entire neighborhood.....

I just had a 40 x 60 x 14 built. Mine is very plain but still it is one of the most satisfying structures I have ever owned.

I can pull my 32 foot long motor home with the 21 foot long cargo trailer attached totally inside and still have room to drop the ramp door on the trailer.

How big are the doors? My barn which was finished in 2003 has a 12' tall by 20' slider and 2 normal garage doors on a 32x52 building. I kick myself weekly for not going 14' walls. There has been 10 times when I could not get what I wanted into the 12' tall door.

Nice looking building. The rock really sets it off. The color scheme is a bit unusual. Does it have to do with our racing colors?

Thanks for sharing,
Eddie
