Another option could be Salem Farm Supply in Salem, NY (www.salemfarmsupply.com). Certainly north of where you are located, but they are quite often devilering and servicing equipment in CT, MA, RI and beyond. Currently have two tractors a log loader and multiple attachements all from Salem. No complaints and typically very good pricing.

Just my thoughts.

I purchased my L3130 at Emerich (near albany) 3 years ago.. Best prices I could find.. but a hundred miles away so delivery wasn't cheap. I bought the backhoe at Ruwett Sibley in New Milford CT.. right on route 7.. about a half hour for me.. not as cheap but excellent service department.

In the spring I'm adding a B-series Kubota.. and I'll probably go with Ruwett.

I second the Emerich's vote, they were awesome, I saved over $2,500 on my BX23 with MMM, Bagger, Blade and Q/A, well worth the $200 I paid in freight. I did everything with them via email - lights, hooks, all the set up and financing, and then one Saturday they drove the machine over, gave me a good two hour lesson and then everything has been great. What I liked was that the guy that set the machine up, checked all the fluids, etc. is the one that delivered it. Plus he gave me about 15 hats, enough for my buddies (I call them my $1,500 dollar hats).

Since then I moved near Ruwet Sibley and I use them for service, they have been fantastic. Had I lived near them when I bought my machine I would have seen what they could have done and probably would have paid slightly more to stay local but I would have had to have done the math. I don't think that I would have paid $2,000 more, but then I never contacted them for pricing because I never even knew they existed.

Funny, during the hot/humid days of August I went to Sharon Springs to get a price on, of all things, a snowblower. I then went to Emerich's and their price was $300 less. Emerich's included the delivery AND installation (as well as showing me how to use it properly) whenever is convienent. Both are 30 min away. Again, go with Jim... unless you can free up Kevin to help you out.

Hi

Its my first post, but I just wanted to say I stopped by Emerich's the other day looking at the BX's. Kevin is a great guy and had no problem spending time talking to me about the tractors. I'm pretty new at this so I had lots of questions and he stayed past his closing time to answer them all for me. His prices seem to be very good also. When I'm ready to buy, thats where I'm going!
