Recommendations on trailer for hauling TYM 554 with Tacoma

Third generation Tacomas have a 3500 lb tow rating. You're asking to haul a 5500 pound tractor plus at least a 2000 lb trailer which at 7500lbs is more than double your manufacturer listed tow rating. If it's a temporary transportation need you'll need to look into renting if it's continuous you'll need to upgrade to a bigger truck.

I had a tacoma v6 with towing package and needed to move 4000 tractor 2 miles around the corner. I used a 7k trailer, I only did it once as the truck and trailer was not the right equipment. upgraded to a 2500 and 14k gooseneck trailer now is the perfect setup for my longer moves.

2mi around the corner saying you average 15mph you could drive it in less than 10min.

If you're hauling it from your driveway on flat surface streets at 25 or less for a couple miles? Probably. Anything else? No way in hell I'd do that. It is grossly over the capacity of that truck.

Heck, for a couple of miles around the corner, I'd just drive the tractor on the road. I regularly drive my tractor 5.5 miles between two properties here. But then I live on the outskirts of a small village in a rural area. Seeing tractors on the road is quite normal here.

1/2 ton truck and 10k trailer minimum as others have pointed out...
I'm assuming it's further than 2miles others are mentioning here
