You manual should have some guidelines, but I would think about 500 lbs would be more than plenty for that sized tractor. One other thing to consider is something lighter that sticks out more towards the rear could have the same effect as something heavier tucked in tight to the 3pt.

If you have a box blade, I think that would probably be in the ball park weight wise, plus you could move snow with it in the opposite direction.

Thanks. A guy at work has a home made rear weight made out of a heavy steel I beam that attached to the 3pt. No sure on the weight. Said I can have it

If it is not enough, perhaps you can hang something more off of it.

I have a BX2660...very similar tractor. With loaded tires and a boxblade on the back, I have used it to move several snowfalls in the 8-16 inch range from our 1/4-mile long and hilly driveway without any problems.

My BX25D which is like a BX2370, I just use the rear blade, land pride rb0560, per specs 143 lbs. It does hang about 32ish" off from the rear. I can just barley swing it all the way around. Snow is not that heavy most of the time, dirt work is a different story!
