Dave,

When I went to pick the tractor up, I was telling the guy what I planned to do with it. When I mentioned a PHD, he informed me he had a grader blade, box grader (almost new), and a post hole digger that he would sell me for $300.

The box grader would of cost me that, so I could not pass up the deal.

We bought it!!

Went back to the dealer this week to do a little haggling /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. The dealer gave me a quote for rebuilding the 72" MMM of $600 for the parts, $200 for the paint job, and he would do the labor on the rebuild. After a little more negotiating, we agreed on a grand total of $9,999 for the tractor and the rebuild on the MMM. I will still need to pay for the paint job if I want it. They even told me that the tractor comes with a canopy, that isn't attached right now, so I didn't see it last time we were in there!

Now comes the waiting.....we dont get our farm until June 1st /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Congrats Dave,

I think you'll be very happy with your purchase. I've never had any regrets and I was within days of buying a brand new Kubota. I really think I made the right choice. Good call on the mower too. It will make mowing much easier for you.
