Reconditioning a couple of tractors

I know a guy who buys old vehicles, motorcycles or whatever he can get for a very low price. Then he strips them down and sells the pieces on ebay.

One time he bought a Honda 90 trail bike for $20 that didn't run. He made over a grand on the parts and threw away what didn't sell.

It would be a shame for somebody to strip those two beauties down and sell them for parts. I know they aren't yours, but if I was in your shoes, I'd make sure they went to somebody who will restore them and keep them in one piece.

I'd be very tempted if I was a little closer, especially the Deere!!!

I totally agree Eddie, and my intentions are not to strip those tractors down to max a profit for this lady, but to hopefully get her a little money and find an owner for those two tractors who could appreciate them.

Don't know much about old tractors, but when I see those two tractors sitting there with that Dodge, I can't help but think of the bonehead thing I did when I was young and sold my 72 Cuda with a 440 six pack. If I could ever find another one of those cars for what I paid for that first one...

Any markings on that Deere? looks like a 40 from here. That was a weird one, 2 cyl but the motor was turned up to allow for a foot clutch. We have one but it is a narrow front end. Hmmmm..... Where 'bouts in NC?
