red button

BX2200, there is a red button under the seat on top of the transmission. Is this a button or a cap and what does it do?

I believe that this is an Air Release Valve (ARV). The red cap floats and raises up to release air.

I do not believe that it is a Pressure Relief Valve (PRV).
