Vickie planted some red hot poker plants a couple years ago. I don't know the proper name and realy don't care, we just like to see them. The attract a lot of butterflies and hummingbirds and the look nice. My problem is that they grow the spikes pretty long and they just fall over then they don't look so nice. Can I just cut them off and will they come back, would it help? does anyone know anything about them that will help? thanks, Nat

The Kniphofia uvaria should be a relatively hardy perennial in your area. Lots of information that I won't repeat on the first five searches on Google.
