Reenforcment bracket?

Hi,

I have an L2800 with about 200 hours on it, mostly brushhogging with a 5' Landpride mower. Somewhere I read that the tractor needs some kind of reenforcement bracket or the 3-point hitch will be strained to the point of breaking something.

Now I'm worried: Anything to this?

This is a picture of someones reinforced toplink after they welded the new bracket to the factory bracket... very good job and something I have thought about doing every-time I hook something heavy to my 3pt...KennyV

...I read that the tractor needs some kind of reenforcement bracket...
It does not need one or else you would see many, many threads about broken toplinks!!! kubota made one to help with 3ph backhoes but that was before subframes were mandatory...
