water on the floor. Took off the back panel and cleaned the freezer drain ( black hose ) today there is ice on the bottom of the freezer once again. any suggestions ?

does fridge have a ice maker or cold water dispenser?

is fridge area correct temp? is freezer correct temp?

is the fan inside freezer part working?

is there a fan between freezer and fridge?

if you get back into the drain were the coils are in the freezer.... can you pour water down the drain... and have it come out in the "pan" located at the very bottom of the fridge?

Is the drain pan clean? I would check the drain again.

there be at least 1 fan, that circulates air in freezer, and also helps slowly move air through fridge. at least all the fridge/freezers i have seen (side by side and various top/bottom setups) the fan normally located around the coils inside the freezer. i guess the fans i have had to replace are about the size of my palm. maybe a little bigger in diameter. those little buggers have cost me a little over 100 bucks. (and thats low balling thrifting on internet)

Whats the model? A bottom freezer? Mine had similar symptoms. My problem was when fridge enters defrost cycle, water, and then turn to ice, would clog in the little rubber drain hose that has a "slit" / "check valve" where it exits in the bottom back into the tube /pan the evaporator fan blows across. Most likely a little piece of something got in drain tube. Solution was to 1. Totally melt ice out of coils and drain (used a little space heater) rather than disassembling freezer interior, and 2. Cut of end of rubber tube so drain hose has a bigger slit than isn't clogged by the tiniest of particles instead of buying the replacement grommet like this video suggests..
That is, the space heater let me skip the first 10minutes of this video and go to solution at 13:00.

I'm not quite understanding your issue. But, if you are saying that the freezer is icing up. It sounds like it isn't going into defrost or, the defrost heaters aren't working.....

Likely the ice is in the bottom because it is defrosting, but not draining off the coils to the evaporator pan, just running to the bottom of the freezer and refreezing.

whats the fix ? if the defrost heaters are not working ,how would I diagnose that.
did the above video suggestion cleaned but did not replace the grommet.

I'm not quite understanding your issue. But, if you are saying that the freezer is icing up. It sounds like it isn't going into defrost or, the defrost heaters aren't working.....

You may of not melted all the ice around the drain into the hose .
If the ice on the bottom of the freezer is clear ice, it probably was once a puddle of water that froze, which means your defrost heaters are working,
