Does any know of a delete kit for the Shibaru Exhaust DPF system. There are two injectors in the exhaust at a thousand each. Tractor had 750 hours on it all filters have been changed before the required time and it is now in limp mode. Dealer says just bring it in, however they are two months behind on work orders because they cannot hire mechanics.
I have no clue about your tractor but as an old hot rodder from the early days of EPA garbage on cars there are things that can be done.
Assuming that it is a sensor on the DPF throwing codes and causing the limp mode.
Removing all the parts and pieces in the exhaust system and replacing it with a fabricated exhaust pipe would be a start.
Then looking at the senors and injectors I wouldn't worry to much about the injectors find the right thread couplers and mount them to a container
to trap and fuel injected. The exhaust sensors are usually temperature and pressure.
In the replacement exhaust piping add a few taps for sensors and a couple of flanges. You can try just installing the sensor a foot or two apart and running that way if you get codes for exhaust pressure insert and orifice plate between the sensors to create a differential pressure.
Depending upon the type of sensors resistors may be able replicate the proper signals.
It would be an aggravating and time consuming procedure but it could be done.

This is all moot if the reason for the limp mode is not in the exhaust but some other sensor for engine control.

Search for Kess/Ktag. The alientech version is a few grand, the chinese knock-offs are a couple hundred. (Same as Tech 2's used to be Bosch vs knock-off) You need to verify that it'll read/write your ecu & you'll need to be careful you don't change parameters that'll damage the engine. If you eliminate regen, you'll need to fab a straight pipe to replace the dpf (or punch out the existing dpf) or you create too much back pressure.

It will be an illegal mod, subjecting you to epa fines if reported, and it will void warranty if you care about that & will reduce your resale value. Doubt any shop will do it, since potential fines aren't worth what they can charge you. If you know any hot rodders/racers/sled pullers, they can help you find the areas to modify in the programming. You may end up needing to do ALL your own repair work if epa mandates reporting of modded systems by licensed shops.

If it was me, & i was to choose to do this, I would keep the dpf and a copy of the original program somewhere safe, so i could put back to stock if/when i sold or needed to have the tractor worked on by someone that might report me.

All things considered, keeping as is until you find a used pre-emissions tractor you like that you can buy, then sell the newer tractor to fund repairs/refurb is probably a better option.
For one NEVER BUY A LS TRACTOR ALL JUNK AND ABSOLUTELY NO DEALER SUPPORT TRACTOR HAS BEEN DOWN IN THE SHOP FOR TWO MONTHS. IT WILL BE ANOTHER TWO TO THREE MONTHS THEY ARE TELLING ME😡

Unfortunately I am not that technically advanced to be able to do that work. No shop will touch it other than LS. LS cannot get parts and they have had it over a month and haven’t even diagnosed the problem. I called around to other state LS dealers. They are all months behind, how they can justify selling those things is beyond ridiculous. I was an idiot and bough one. Once fixed it will be traded in on a MF American Made !!!

There has to be a way to modify the software. Im from the bosch ecu world, in my professional life, and we have several ways to modify ecu strategies, programming, adaptiona, and coding. Most common is bench top where you have a 12v power/ground and your network lines from a kwp2000, or which youd want.

I'll start by saying I know nothing about this tractor model or what brand ecu it has but maybe if you post the brand/model number i could see what help i can offer.
It’s a LS3037C Shibaru engine.

Well after three weeks in shop (not a dealer) the diesel shop sent out the computer hopeful that it could be re programed to run without the Diesel Exhaust Filter regeneration. Well they could not reprogram it so now I am stuck having to fix it. Unknown what that is at this time.
I know you said the dealer is behind but ask them if you drop it off could they run computer diagnostics on it to give you a idea of what to look for? Where are you located? You may check with a Massey dealer? They used to use Shibura engines.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sutton tractor is the local Massey dealer. I called around to LS dealers from Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. All of them are back up for months. Let’s go Brandon is all the will say? Heck, my name is Bob🤦‍♂️ Lol

One day the US will look like Cuba, with old cars and old equipment everywhere because it still works, people can maintain it and it doesn’t need “software updates.”

It already is with the insane cost of new anything, smart folks are keeping the older stuff because they cannot afford new anyway. My 'new in 02 and 04 tractors are fine with me. Maintain and use.

Not that the unit is junk, it's that domestic dealer and parts support is negligible. Why I base my tractor purchases on dealer location, parts availability and dealer bedside manner.. My dealer's bedside manner is over the top, obviously yours is lacking.

My LS has had some issues, and I have a small local dealer, I consider them more of a lawn mower dealer than a tractor dealer, but they have had no major problem getting parts and service has been very good. New ECU and multiple DPF sensors trying to correct a regen issue, some sort of electronic controller for an F21 error, and a HST drive to correct hydraulic whining.... Parts seem to take 2-3 weeks to come in, then we schedule a day/time for service.
