As far as I know in Texas tractors are not registered. I have never seen one with a plate of any kind. Except for the "slow moving vehicle" one on the back of the tractor. If it was required, I would think that the hwy department would have tags on their mowing tractors. Cause you know that the government doesn't want to break any laws.
