After seeing where it's final destination is I would assume you would like the simplest tractor possible with just the basics. Manual transmision, lights and hydraulics and four wheel drive. The bachoe may be purchased from independant manufacturer. I also assume there is a maximum # limit per crate if it is air delivery and also crate size may be important.

Just thoughts;
contact Chinese factory direct for purchase and delivery. This may save having it go thru Seatle. You would probably need a broker for all the legal aspects. The Factory may also be able to put you in touch with West Coast dealers. Anchorage Freight Companies will be able to give you all the freighting advice you need.
As to assembly problems I know little but could forsee hydraulic connection points and gaskets where/if required. Maybe worst would be instructions that are hard to follow. Thread type on nuts and bolts may also be an issue if some are lost or missing.
Wish I could really help but this is the best I can do.

thanks,but lots of extra money to take apart and put back together re-crate and then ship to the furthest point from N.C.that you can possibly get how about a west coast dealer?

i guess you have to live in AK to understand shipping problems. i think your idea about direct shipping is a good one. but whatis abroker are there no dealers in the west coast that would ship unassebled crated units can you help AK tractor man thanks

thanks. jinma is one brand i have been looking at because of the crating i have seen in some of these foums are there any other brands or dealers you know of doing this . i would have no problem assembling a tractor myself but would need some help with final adjusting in clutches and just all the small things that come up price is of major importants

Clutches should have been adjusted at the factory. Most crated tractors only have the wheel/tires, 3pt linkage and the ROPS removed. Maybe fenders and some smaller items too. Loaders and backhoes usually come banded to their own pallets. Their are a few dealers just north of the border in British Columbia that specialize in Chinese and Grey market tractors. I beleive Yanmars and grey market Kubota's are fairly common there. Will contact you with more info regarding these as I receive it.
