REMOTE HYDRAULICS

   / REMOTE HYDRAULICS #21
Hi Eddie,

I've got scans of a couple of pages from both the YM276D Operator Manual and Service Manual that have good drawings and pictures that illustrate the how and why of tapping into your hydraulic system this way. The Service Manual illustration has two drawings that show hydraulic flow in the hydraulic block both without the taps/hex plug installed and with them installed.

If it's not too late when I get home this evening from one of my daughter's Christmas shows then I'll post them. If it's too late tonight then I'll post them Thursday evening.

John

Hi Eddie,

Here are the scans from the manuals. They aren't great quality scans but the information appears to be legible.

Remember that these scans are from a made for the US market Yanmar tractor YM276 so the fitting sizes that they call out are not correct for a Grey Market Yanmar.

Also I need to correct something I said in an earlier post regarding the 1/4 hex pipe plug that is needed for a Grey Market Yanmar it is a BSPT (tapered) and not BSPP (parallel). After making these scans I saw that they specified an NPTF (tapered) plug. So I looked at the spare hex plug that I got from Maryland Metric when I bought all of the fitting for my tractor and sure enough it does have a slight taper to it. My bad.

Hopefully the information on these pages will help you determine where the inlet/outlet fittings are on your hydraulic block.

John

Excellent pictures, I have learned a lot, I think I still will have to cut my lines because all information so far shows inlet and outlet ports on their tractor. My Yanmar 1300 does not have these. The manual shows the factory specs using a seperate divider block that you had to purchase seperately and then connecting to the auxillary spool. If anyone out there has a similiar set up, let me know. My manual also shows using a spool with PBY. Since this was an option on this tracor at purchase, not much of the information is very detailed. I will try and scan pictures and take pictures of my tractor tomorrow.

Fantastic John,

Thank you so much. I can study these and compare with my 2020.
Very useful information.
