Final shot of the valve from the left side. I still have to trim the cable ties and will have to pull the valve mount and paint it, but it's 95% there.

Also the control handles still stick out a little farther than I'd like for getting on and off the tractor - but they are fine for operating.

I could gain another inch by going with round knobs, but I may just cut the handles shorter and rethread them.

( Standard bolts are stamped with 3 or 5 lines on the bolt head. Metric are stamped with numbers 5.5 or 8.8 etc. These are the grade of the bolt but makes for easy identification if it is Standard or Metric )

Right - that was what was perplexing - checking the bolt with my little el-cheapo calipers showed the diameter to be 13mm exactly on the shank/shoulder, and slightly less than 9/16" - however the end of the bolt had six lines indicating standard grade 8 (and not metric.) The shank/shoulder of the longer 9/16" bolts I picked up is actually slightly larger than the originals - but they fit in the holes fine ......... mebbe that explains Mad's friends rattley ROPS /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Ron, we'll patiently wait. A couple questions I hope you'll cover. It looks like you sandwiched a tee in a piece of kindorf for your mount? Also what brand of valve did you mount under the loader - looks like the right size. Where did you get it, and does it have power beyond, even though you didn't go that route.
We're looking forward to this. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hate to bust your bubble, but, that's a lot of extraneous plumbing for what could be done with electric splitters like we use on ag. tractors. They are pretty inexpensive and really compact and they work with a electrically.

A 2 circuit unit is $399.99 and a 3 circuit unit is $429.99 and they come complete. We use them all the time. You have way too much plumbing. More plumbing equates to more joints and more chances of a failure or leak.

Try www.valu-bilt.com Keyword: hydraulic multipliers

Daryl,
can't fault your logic if your tractor has better options like most ag and most new CUTs. My old Bota doesn't have extra aux hydraulic tap(s), so I am stuck working off the single (loader) hydraulics plumbing. I looked at the diverters, and I still have essentially the same amount of and routing for the plumbing to pick up some front and rear options, so in my case, I think it's about a wash. always open to some more ideas though.

I did post some pictures of my front blade on TBN. Probably not what you are looking for. Plane to add some more this week. Anything special that you would like to see posted?
Valve is one I bought at my dealer. $100. It was left over from a front blade on a
Kubota tractor.
Valve has power beyond. But I piped it open center. Didn't want to run a return hose. Now that I am retired. I have put it on my list of things to complete.

Ron,
any brand on that valve, or any more left??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif How about a closer shot of your distribution block - is it Kindorf? I looked at your valve picture last year, have it saved, but memory has it that I will have to work a bit to fit it in the same spot on my 2150. I have the dumb loader /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif valve stays on it when you pull the loader off, I may look at trying to alter that at the same time. Boy will I have a list by the time I retire!

Ron:

You are retired now? No wonder you have time to hit the spoons with my buddy from Monroe. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is a HUSCO. Same as the ones that Kubota uses for loaders. There are no more of those valves at my dealer at that price.
Give a look on Ebay. There are several Kubota loader valves up for bid. I don't know what they fit though. They are remote.
Retirement is great. Wish I had done it earlier.
