I'd get a small machine for in the barn, one that is easier to maneuver in the space anyways. Then bring the material out of the barn with the small machine and load it with the L39 once outside.ac

I already have 3 tractors that will fit in that barn. Mahindra 4035, Cub 3235 and Kubota 7510. It's not an issue of buying a tractor to fit in there, it's an issue of getting a tractor that is highly nimble, easy to operate, a GST tranny and has excellent lift capacity. That tractor is the Kubota L39. If I could by another tractor with those features and a low profile, I would in a heart beat. I don't believe that tractor currently exists, that's why I want to modify mine.

I would use the 7510 inside the barn and dump outside
use the L39 to pick it up and dump into the spreader
no need for a ramp and NO CHANGING or the ROPS

I don't see any issue with lowering the height of the L39 ROPS. I almost did it on my L45 but then I decided to put the Laurin cab on it and so I now have a tent garage for the L45 pending construction of a new garage with a 10' door. I work in construction and we are always modifying structural steel elements on site (with engineer approval/drawings) to accomodate unforseen site conditions. Before modifying the ROPS though I would remove the plastic cover (which is just for show - the FOPS protection is the steel underneath the plastic) and see how much you gain with that. There is plenty of room under the ROPS on an L39/L45 and a good fabricator should be able to lower it a few inches without any loss of safety.

Regards,

Lauren

No , just us tax payers covering long term care for a drooling cripple.

Quite a few assumptions there mr buick. Check the man's tractor list, it looks like he makes his living with them. You can't PUT enough safety chit on a machine to keep an idiot from hurting himself with it. As I said common sence and experiance is the best safety, otherwise, better just stay in your driveway in your Buick. (seatbelt fastened)
