My John Deere 790 has the same problem. The exhaust covers the left corner of the loader bucket and lift frame with black soot. Thought If I take a Hudson sprayer full of diesel and soak the soot then throw a match on it I'd have my own redneck regen system.
I made an elbow out of EMT conduit, on my BX,, works perfect,,,worth trying sticking the outlet against a piece of paper to get the diameter, and see if some conduit piece will fit in or over the pipe..

Well I was working on the loader making some minor repairs, when I had the thought of using VIM. I tried it and it worked GREAT, but what a job I thought. It's a mechanical self levelling loader and has all finds of extra arms and plates. A great job for my cleaning lady! I am always giving her odd jobs or sending her to barns, shed and shacks! So I asked her, and the first words our of her mouth were (not what you might think) but SIMPLE GREEN!
She was too busy with my house, and I finally got some SIMPLE GREEN.
Yes it certainly works but not without a rag and lots of time.
It would be nice if it foamed more, stuck to the surface and maybe you could just wash it off with water.
