I have a stubborn female coupling on my case 78, I have bought a new part to replace it but just can't get it off. I've tried all sorts, does anyone know of any tricks/tools used to remove it?

Much appreciated.

Welcome to TBN.
Pic of fitting would help us to figure out a solution.

Do want to remove the female quick release coupling from the line it is screwed into... Or are you having trouble getting the male end out of the female quick release coupling...

If it's rusted, pour some penetrating oil to it,
if you can't get it out, replace both male and female.

Remove any pressure first.

Pliers to turn the barrel of the coupler and then pull or push the barrel to release the male coupler.
