Heat.. lots.Any tips on removing the gland nut from a Koyker 140 lift cylinder?
Crescent has done nothing but tear it up.

Those pack of rats lock tite that gland nut,heat it up to at least 300 degrees,then gently tap it with a hammer 360 degrees around the thread base,then take the cylinder to a bench vice clamp it on the flats on the packing gland,not to tight it will egg shape,after securing the cylinder use a large pipe wrench on the end of cylinder or a long bar through the pin retaining end of the cylinder and have fun..! I had to mill those flats on my packing gland,I destroyed those flats on the packing gland..Any tips on removing the gland nut from a Koyker 140 lift cylinder?
