Removing Skid Steer QA Bucket

Is there any special technique to remove the QA bucket? I haven't tried yet and know nothing more than pulling up the 2 levers. What do I need to do after I pull the levers?

Put the bucket down on the ground level and lower the boom, backup, raise the boom.

Pull the levers while the bucket is in the air, don't tilt the bucket down when unhooking.

When hooking up, you can tilt the invisible bucket down, drive into the attachment, raise boom until the ears catch, then roll the bucket back until it is off the ground.

Make sure when you reattach that the pins are fully engaged,I usually drive mine down with a hammer and bar.These are tapered pins,make sure the go down as far as possible.You can twist and bend stuff if you don't.

One of the best ways to learn to take off and put on your bucket is to, read your manual, and go out and prictice. thats how I taught myself to do this.

I have never been in a place where I had help, or extra hand, to get things done. But do have frends that are always looking for help till it's my turn for the use of their hands.

Seriously, the manual helps alot.

i took my bucket off when the tractor was delivered an put the hay forks on.only had them off for a few mins once just playing with it.

Make sure the loader is NOT in float when you throw the locking levers to unlock the bucket. If it is the loader arms can fall to the ground. Those arms are heavy!
