I have a b3030 and was trying to remove the steering wheel. I removed the nut on top and tried to pull up on it but it would not come off. Pulls up about a quarter of an inch and thats it. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Pick up a steering wheel puller at your local parts store. There are usually 2 threaded holes on either side of the nut you took off. The puller will come with bolts to thread into the holes and through the puller tool. Tighten center pressure screw, wheel will pop loose. Probably buy or borrow the tool.

I looked and there are no center holes in the nut.

Do you have the factory service manual for this tractor? You should have.

Put some tension on the wheel by pulling it towards you, have a buddy hit the center nut area with teflon or rubber hammer. It will break loose, you shouldn't need a puller!
