At what point do you stop extending the cylinders when removing the 200CX? Is it when the cast arm spring down or do you fully extend the cylinders 100%?

Go a little further then just the point of disconnect. My father- in -law stopped at that point on he’s 200cx loader, and the stand isn’t back under the loader enough. The next time he put the loader on he just touched the loader to connect it and the stand collapsed from under the loader and dropped to the ground shooting hydraulic oil 12’ out of the connections what a mess. We ended up using a chain hoist to pick the loader up high enough to get the tractor under it to connect the hydraulics to lower the stand again. Make sure the stand is more pass vertical to the connecting point. What I couldn’t figure out is I thought the hydraulic connects closed off when disconnected.
