Orange citrus hand cleaners seem to work.

I've tried many things and never seem to be rid of it. I can smell it for days after a refuel. I think rubber gloves and a good funnel would be the best, i.e., prevention rather than mitigation.

What he said... I just have to wear it off... Same with many other petroleum chemicals... Berryman's, PB Blaster, etc...

Use 100% soy biodiesel, it doesn't smell bad at all. The downside is that is costs $2.50/gallon and isn't very good in the cold weather as far as I know.

I researched buying a Mercedes diesel sedan a while back and in my readings I read from what I believe to be a reputable source that in the event of a diesel spill inside the car to set out some pans of vinegar which would absorb the fumes.

I have remembered this but never needed to try it. Wonder what washing your hands in it would do to the smell?.. vinegar garage?
