Rental cost for Kubota L3710?

I used my L3710 on a job last summer scrapping seven aluminum railcar hoppers. I need to be able to substantiate a rental charge. The tractor is a hydrostatic w/ loader, two remotes, and solid foam filled tires.

I'll probably have to sue for the money so I need something to provide the magistrate. The original verbally agreed on figure was $1,000, I thought for a month, but the job ended up going on for four months before the guy was run off due to mismanagement.

At a lowball of 50 dollars an hour x 60 days at 8 hours a day..Looks like the guy you worked for bought you a brand new tractor....

Around here you can rent a good size excavator for 400.00 a day, not including operator.On a month rental you pay for three weeks, the fourth week is free. My wife gets 50.00 a hour for our GC2310 with her as operator. My competitors get 75.00 an hour or more for their kubotas, especially for emergency service. Smaller machines make the same or more per hour because it is a specialized business. In the future you can go online and get an excavators contract to cya. Some exclusions around here are ledge or water problems that are unseen until you dig. plowking

Weather man says 4-6 by Saturday night and 10-15" by Sunday night.

Looks to me like all you can hope for is the agreed upon $1000 or perhaps $1000/month. Do you have anything in writing to show where he agreed to this price?

Keith there was no written contract with me. I negotiated the contract from the railroad for the guy. The agreement between the two of us was verbal. That's not a problem in a local magistrate court. I know both of the magistrates. I just need to be able to substantiate a bare monthly rental cost.
