Rental Upgrade Kit?

Thanks folks - I'm going to stop over at my dealer on Saturday to check this out with them (besides for taking advantage of the free seat offer). I'd like to get the loader and underside armor - there is just too much stuff hanging down there that could get damaged too easily.

I just heard from JDParts. These aren't service parts, but are accessories and are ordered by the dealer....

This reminds me of that goofy business of having "parts"
and having the same "parts" sold through the"whole goods"
(whatever that is are some parts unwhole?)

When I wanted an extra set of AG tires for our Kubota BX2200
a dealer checked both ways. Through "whole goods" the 4 wheels
and 4 tires were $300 for the set. Through "parts" they were
$800!

A couple of dealers didn't seem to know this and just quoted
$5,6,$800.

Sounds like an smart Kubota dealer could order stuff through their
whole goods department and sell the stuff to less brainy
Kubota dealers!

I checked with my dealer today (while I was taking advantage of the coupon to get the chair).

Other than the normal kit listing on the sales side, there was no listing that they could look up for the armor kit. Should they be looking for these parts (from the previous message)?
Components can be purchased separately or as a group:
-Hood & Grille Guard
-Heavy Duty Loader Bucket
-Replaceable Loader Bucket Cutting Edge
-Hydraulic Coupler Protective Plates
-Cylinder Protective Plates
-Kevlar Hose Covers
-Steel Guards for Warning Lights

They are willing to order them separately or in the rental kit if they must. I already have the HD bucket with the replacable cutting edge and hood/grill guard so I think it's just the protective plates and covers that I need. Is there a listing of what is in the Rental Kit anywhere (the couldn't find it when they looked).
