Renting backhoe for 1 day, Kubota or Terramite???

Friend, you obviously are unimformed. I have seen Terramites that are 25 or 30 years old, still working. How many Kubotas are still out there. And, try buying parts for an old Kubota.

Terramite backhoe loaders have been around, probably since you were in diapers. The product is in nearly every major rental store, including Nationsrent, Sunbelt, and United Rentals.

When something is made of solid steel, it doesn't need a lot of fancy creases to make it strong.

THe machines are super heavy duty since they are in rental use.

I've had 3 in the last 25 years. Everytime I've sold one, I get top, top dollar.

Agreed about the Terramite being one tough machine. They truely are a rental grade machine. THey do not have hardly any bells and whistles on them (bells and whistles break). They are very easy to work on. They also do not break down much and have a long life expectancy. This makes them a perfect rental machine.

I have rented a terramitte 3 or 4 times to do work around our camp and all I can say is WOW I even looked for used one and the other posts are right they get top dollar for them. I own a Ford New Holland 1215 and I would never think using it as I did the terramitte. Also keep in mind the smaller ones are gas so no special need to run and get a diesel can to keep it fueled for the day.

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifI really like my Terramite tractor. Its so easy to use that my whole famile has grown up with it. In fact I've replaced 3 pickup trucks but still have my Terramite making money for me everyday.

My neighbor has one that is even older than mine and he gets parts for it either at the hardward store of the NAPA store, try doing that with a KUBOTA!
